About Me

I’m Yu Liu, a Ph.D candidate at WPI, major in Computer Science, advised by prof. Craig A. Shue. My research interest mainly lies in cybersecurity. Internet techonlogy is given a significant role to help people. However, to avoid abusing, technology itself needs escort for its evolution. I would like to build secure systems to enforce an easy Internet environment, like secure home networks for average users. In addition, I am also interested at networking technologies, architectures, and distributed systems, which I learn much as a member of The Cake Lab. In my spare time, I enjoy playing guitar, cooking, and hiking.
